University Terrace Crimewatch (UTCW) was created in 1998. Since inception UTCW has grown to be a full service Crimewatch. Education is and has played a vital role in our continued success of crime prevention for University Terrace.

Our neighborhood is located within the Dallas Police Northeast Division. Our role is a partnership with the NE Division - Neighborhood Policing Department. We assist in the reduction of crime incidents within our reporting area #1109. Our team consists of:

Chairperson
Manages all aspects of the UTCW group and serves as a primary liaison to the Dallas Police Department (NE Division) and other Dallas Crimewatch groups. Develops and maintains UTCW resources such as hotline, e-alerts, newsletter content, official website and neighborhood crimewatch meetings.

Council Members
Develops relationships with neighbors and keeps current on crime activities. Primary duties are to distributes newsletters, attend the annual UTCW Neighborhood Party, Neighborhood meetings.

VIP (Volunteers In Patrol)
These residents patrol the neighborhood in their vehicles (Identified with magnetic sign - University Terrace VIP Patrol) and reports incidents to police liaison Dallas Police NE Division - Officer Andrew Duba and Officer Theron Akin
