May 2009  - We ask all neighbors to be aware and report any and all suspicious activity to 911.  Giving details like make, model and color of vehicle will be extremely helpful to Dallas Police.   Taking a partial license plate is better than no number at all.

We also ask that you notify your contractors, that are doing your home repairs, of our patrols and to let them know that we are strong and active.

We highly suggest using the contractors listed on the contractors page. We have a list of plumbers, electricians, etc… that reside in our neighborhood and are ready to become your contractor!

Be sure to:

1. Not leave any items of value in your car.

2. Make sure your parked car is well lit during night hours or parked in your garage.

3. Encourage your neighbors to leave their porch lights on during night hours.

4. If you are expecting packages to be delivered to your home ask a neighbor to get it from your porch and hold it until you get home or have it delivered to a trusted stay at home neighbor.

5. Secure your backyard gates with locks.

6. Keep your garage doors shut, even while you do yard work. Keep your door opener with you while you work.

7. “No Solicitation Sign” – we encourage every resident to get a sign and attach it to your front porch in plain view.

8. Please pick up the free newspapers from your front yard and driveways.

If you have any information, please call the Northeast Investigative Unit at 214-670-4416.
